When can I expect to receive my results?
The timing of result delivery varies based on the specific service option:
- Fit to Fly PCR Test (Same Day Results): You will receive your results on the same day as the sample collection.
- Fit to Fly PCR Test (Next Day Results): Results will be available the day after the sample is collected at our branch.
- Pre-Departure Fit to Fly Rapid Antigen Test: Expect your results within 2 to 12 hours of uploading your test data.

If you are travelling to a country that accepts the Rapid Antigen Tests, you can take advantage of our Pre-Departure Lateral Flow Tests. We will email your fit to fly certificate confirming your result within 2 to 12 hours.
The covid tests are sometimes called swabs or antigen tests, and check to see if you are currently infected with the COVID-19 virus. The swab sample is taken from your nose and throat.
You can no longer get free polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests from the NHS. Instead, you can buy PCR and lateral flow tests from Midway Pharmacy.
Our COVID-19 tests provide fast answers before and after you travel, including:
travel knowing that you’re healthy by getting a test before and after you arrive at your destination
prevent the spread of Covid-19 by knowing when to quarantine if you’re potentially ill, and avoid bringing home the virus if you catch it in transit
Try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people if you:
have any symptoms of COVID-19, have a high temperature, or do not feel well enough to go to work or do your normal activities
have tested positive for COVID-19 – this means it’s very likely you have the virus
Unlike the PCR test, the antigen test can only determine if you have an active virus in your body. The rapid test can’t detect small amounts of the virus or asymptomatic cases as accurately as the PCR test can.
