CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical Peel

A chemical peel is a non-invasive procedure designed to improve the appearance of your face.

What Can Chemical Peels Treat?

Chemical peels offer a broad range of applications, enhancing skin tone and texture across various body areas, including but not limited to:

This encompasses reducing the visible effects of aging, diminishing minor scars, age spots, and freckles, as well as enhancing the texture and tone of your facial skin.

What happens during a chemical peel?

Chemical peels are typically conducted on an outpatient basis, with a treatment duration ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Protective measures are taken for your eyes and hair. Following a thorough facial cleansing, your consultant will apply one or more chemical solutions to targeted areas. These solutions induce a controlled wound, revealing fresh, healthy skin.

The extent of your chemical peel is determined by the treatment duration and the specific solution used.

A chemical peel treatment is relatively quick. When you come in for your consultation we’ll check your skin with our Skin Scanner UV system so that we can ascertain which chemical peel is right for you. The actual procedure itself doesn’t take long at all. We will cleanse and prep your skin, then apply the peel, wait a few minutes for it to do its work, then neutralise it and remove.
Results vary from person to person, and are also dependent on the type and depth of the chemical peel applied. You can expect to see a significant improvement to skin concerns such as acne, scarring, sun damage and ageing signs. Your skin will also look brighter and revitalised.
If you want to brighten up dull, tired skin then a chemical peel can be a good choice. It’s also helpful if you suffer from conditions such as:

Hyperpigmentation
Sun damage/sun spots
Fine lines or wrinkles on the face
Mild scarring from acne for instance
Some acne conditions
Milia or milk spots
